Research Interests
Human biology, social determinants of health, developmental origins of health and disease, health inequities, gut microbiota, human-environment interactions
Research Background
My research interests center on parent/child health, human-environment interactions, and the microbiome. I am particularly interested in how the microbiome can be used to study the interface between humans and their physical and social environments. I am also interested in social support within queer populations, especially as they relate to experiences of pregnancy and family.
