Research Background

I am interested in the movement and migration from El Salvador to North Carolina. This includes but isn't limited to family dynamics, identity, generational differences, organizational/community support in NC, and transnationalism. My methodological approach is qualitative through central use of ethnography and oral history with a foundation and commitment to community engaged and activist research.
