Gabby Purcell received a summer research award from the Center for the Study of the American South for her ” Engaged Archaeology: Cherokee Foodways Past and Present” project.  This is in addition to the award that she received from the participatory research group.

Dayuma Alban has been awarded both an AAUW International Doctoral Degree Fellowship and Inter-American Foundation Fellowship to support her dissertation fieldwork in the Ecuadorian amazon region.

Samantha King received an NSF DDRIG award to support her project, “Investigating Transitions in Agricultural Livelihoods: Global Change, Response Diversity, and Local Food Production in Dominica.”
