Isaura Cruz successfully defended her dissertation and has started as an Assistant Professor at Santa Clara University
Lucía Stavig (PhD May 2022) accepted a postdoc at the University of Pennsylvania for 2022-2023
Rachel Wilbur successfully defended her dissertation and has accepted a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at the Harvard Medical School
Recent PhD graduate Samantha King has accepted a Research Associate position at Yale University’s Human Relations Area Files (HRAF) starting this fall
Kailey Rocker has accepted a 3-year position as Visiting Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin
Maja Jeranko received a UNC Global Partnership Award to work with faculty at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ) and a Humanities Professional Pathway Award to work with a nonprofit organization in her field site, the coastal community of Don Juan. She has published a research article on Covid and gender at the Natural Hazard Center and, with Florence Babb, has a forthcoming chapter on “Decolonizing Methods in Feminist Ethnography: Reflections from Andean Peru and Coastal Ecuador,” in the Routledge Handbook to Feminist Anthropology
