Diana Gomez Correal was recently awarded the LASA/Oxfam America 2016 Martin Diskin Dissertation Award, an award that recognize the combination of activism and academic work. Diana is currently teaching her second semster at Javeriana University in Bogotá. She is also teaching this semester Anthropology of Emotions in Rosario University. Additionally, Diana is participating in the peace movement in Colombia.
