Further achievements by our graduate students:
Gracie Riehm has received the Charles Hudson Award from the Southeastern Archaeological Conference.
Jordan Davis passed his MA defense and has accepted a position in college admissions at the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
Further achievements by our faculty:
Ben Arbuckle received an award from the UNC Global Partnerships program for a collaborative project between UNC (Arbuckle and Mikeska) and the zooarchaeology lab at Tübingen University. The grant is entitled “Herding and households in Bronze Age Anatolia: Isotopic approaches to feeding ancient cities.”
Patricia McAnany was interviewed and quoted in the following article in The New York Times Magazine (Nov. 8, 2020): “How do you Know when Society is About to Fall Apart? Meet the scholars who study civilizational collapse” by Ben Ehrenreich.
