Research & Activities:

I am a bioarchaeologist with research interests in dental pathologies with respect to diet and musculoskeletal stress markers as indicators of habitual activity. My geographic and temporal interest is primarily Andean prehistory, specifically North Coast Peru and the Lake Titicaca regions of Peru and Bolivia. I have assisted with projects in the Moche Valley of Peru and with the YaYa Mama religious tradition near Copacabana, Bolivia. I also have research interests in human biology and biomedical anthropology with respect to metabolic diseases.
