Entered the program in 2001.
Education: MA Anthropology, UNC-Chapel Hill; BA Cultural Studies, UNC-Chapel Hill.
Research Interests: I am currently studying the global justice movement, focusing specifically on the movement(s)' forms and manifestations in Italy, but also as a global movement that includes events and spaces like the recent protests in Cancun, the World Social Forums and many others. I am also interested in social movements and resistance more broadly and what ethnographic approaches can contribute to a better more engaged understanding of political projects for social -political change.
