New Book:  Tricia McAnany’s Maya Cultural Heritage: How Archaeologists and Indigenous Communities Engage the Past is now out from Rowman & Littlefield.

New project: Rudi Colloredo-Mansfeld a grant received a grant from the US Embassy-Quito, to inaugurate “Factories of Change: Mill Towns and the Future of Textile Heritage in the Americas, a Pilot Study” an exchange that involves the Museum of the Textile Factory of Imbabura  (Ecuador), the Rocky Mount Mills of North Carolina, and the Southern Historical Collection at UNC.

Samantha King was awarded Honorable Mention for the Society for Economic Anthropology Schneider Paper Prize!
